The BAFANG M615 is a high-performance mid-drive system designed for demanding e-bike conversion projects. The BBSHD-based system features an integrated controller, CAN BUS communication, dual Hall speed sensors and compatibility with a range of BAFANG CAN protocol displays. It supports 68-73mm, 100mm and 120mm bottom bracket widths, making it suitable for a wide range of compatible mountain, road, commuter, cargo and utility bicycles.

High-Torque 1000W Mid-Drive Motor

The M615 combines a 1000W motor with up to 160Nm of torque, providing substantial assistance for demanding riding conditions.

The mid-drive configuration transfers motor power through the bicycle's drivetrain, allowing the motor to benefit from the bicycle's existing gearing. This makes the system particularly suited to hill climbing, cargo applications and mixed-terrain riding.

The system is designed for high-performance applications including eSpeed, eCargo, eMTB, touring and utility bicycles.

CAN BUS Communication

This version uses CAN BUS communication to allow compatible components to communicate with the motor system.

The upgraded system includes battery communication functionality, dual Hall speed sensors and a dedicated taillight connection with brake-light functionality.

For battery communication features to operate correctly, a compatible battery with the appropriate communication function is required.

The motor is supplied with an XT60 male connector, so the selected battery must have a compatible connection or be correctly adapted by a qualified installer.

Riding Modes
