High-Capacity Downtube & Rear Rack Battery for E-Bike Conversion Systems

The Varstrom E-Bike Battery is a removable lithium battery designed for compatible electric bicycles, BAFANG conversion systems and DIY e-bike builds.

Available in 36V, 48V and 52V configurations, with multiple capacity and housing options, the battery can be configured for different electric bicycle applications. Depending on the selected variant, it uses either 18650 or 21700 lithium-ion cells.

The battery features an integrated Battery Management System (BMS) with multiple protection functions, while the removable design allows the battery to be secured to the bike when riding and removed for convenient charging or use as a spare battery.

Performance

The battery is designed to provide reliable energy storage for compatible electric bicycle systems, with capacity options ranging from compact commuter configurations to higher-capacity setups for longer rides.

The largest listed configurations can provide up to approximately 960Wh of energy capacity.

Actual riding range depends on motor power, controller settings, rider weight, terrain, riding speed, weather, tyre pressure and other factors.

The battery can be used with compatible 250W, 500W and 1000W motor systems, provided the voltage and electrical specifications are correctly matched.

The default discharge connector is an XT60 female connector. Other connector configurations may be available by request.
