KOLANKY EV Charging Adapter Type 1 / Type 2 / GB/

The KOLANKY EV Charging Adapter provides a convenient way to connect compatible electric vehicles and AC charging equipment using different charging connector standards.

Available in multiple configurations, the adapter range supports connections between Type 1, Type 2 and GB/T AC charging interfaces, with options including Type 2 to Type 1, Type 1 to Type 2, GB/T to Type 2, Type 2 to GB/T and Type 1 to GB/T.

With support for up to 32A, the adapters can accommodate charging applications of up to 7.2kW on single-phase systems or 22kW on three-phase systems, subject to the capabilities of the vehicle, charging equipment and electrical installation.

Adapter Configurations

Type 2 to Type 1

Connects a Type 2 charging connector to a vehicle equipped with a Type 1 / SAE J1772 inlet.

Type 1 to Type 2

Connects a Type 1 / SAE J1772 charging connector to a vehicle equipped with a Type 2 inlet.

GB/T to Type 2

Connects compatible GB/T AC charging equipment to a vehicle equipped with a Type 2 inlet.

Type 2 to GB/T

Connects a Type 2 charging connector to a vehicle equipped with a compatible GB/T AC charging inlet.

Type 1 to GB/T

Connects a Type 1 / SAE J1772 charging connector to a compatible vehicle equipped with a GB/T AC charging inlet.

The adapter is constructed using a robust PC+ABS thermoplastic housing with a UL94 V-0 flame-retardant rating.

The terminals use silver-plated copper alloy contacts, providing a durable connection for compatible AC charging applications.
